Outfit: what I wore to the Burlesque Ball thingy

Necklace: Diva
Earrings: Thrifted
Petticoat: Tulle and Elastic from Lincraft

My darling friend Boo bought me a ticket to a Burlesque Ball and the theme was balck and red and so I wore this, I could write some long winded wank about being inspired by some Vargas pin up or a Billy Wilder movie... but I wasn't, I was poor, needed to wear something red and burlesque leaning and I had to be comfortable. Shit I want: Australian Plus Sized Shit

Mline Dress; Avaialble at Myer

This dress is darling, this whole label is actually darling it's the youth off shoot of the Australian Plus Size stalwart label Maggie T (and if you are of a certain age or want to look that way I totally recommend they do have some great pieces I have a couple of maggie t jumpers that I thrash to death come winter) I tried on this dress at Myer a frew weeks ago and if I had the $199 I would of got it there and then it was impeccible quality and a fab cut... nothing but love for this label... so far

Cute dress, I think this dress wouldn't look as good when encased with my tits and arse but I can dream.

Don't usually care for the Dip dye phenomena of late but this I like and the dye looks flattering and with long term potential. P.S. Autograph the price point for this shirt sucks balls.

Actually dream diva has been the most impressive Aussie plus sized brand of late with their dresses and items all reasonably priced for Australia with a variety of tasteful and on trend pieces that don't verge into ghetto trash cough ahem City Chic cough, and their dress selection for plus iszes absolutely rocks and am thinking af buying me a birthday present for myself from there.

Outfit: of the Good Vibrations Music Festival

Yesterday I went to the Sydney Good Vibrations Music festival with my bother and the boy to see Salt n Pepa, Gossip, Naughty By Nature and fuck load of other artists. It was great fun, even if it was bucketing all day and I couldn't fluff up the fro in the way I wanted to fluff it.

Top: Beth Ditto for Evans (actually found it in a Thrift Store here in Sydney)
Jacket: Thrifted
Shorts: pair of kmart jeans that I thrifted and cut up
Tights: Curvaceous
Boots: steel toe tradies

I don't particularly care for the top but I found it at an Op Shop for ten bucks and thought fuck it let's give it a whirl, they were selling the attached aqua singlet for $5 which I caved and bought too it was a size 32UK and I'm usually a 26UK in tops and dresses so I had to belt it otherwise I would feel awkward/swimming in fabric, and you have to excuse my breasts there is actually 3/4 of a bottle of vodkas stashed in one of these and I had deflated one of my boobs making screwdrivers at the bus stop

Yes I am that classy!

I wore it as to reference to Beth Ditto at the fetival but yeah, Gossip were clashing with Naughty by Nature on the schedule so she couldn't see me in the crowd and let me in backstage like she did with Stephanie .

Anyways every talks about Beth Ditto and what she is doing Fashion-wise for plus size girls well ahem I do love her and her style but if you have ever seen Basement Jaxx live you would have drowned in the hour and a bit of fat fashion fabulousness that is their live show .

in fact just google them and enjoy them, they are one of my most favouritest bands ever, their songs are perfections and you will be happier guaranteed if you listen to their music.

Happy Valentines Day!

I got roses...gag. Ok not so gaggy it's totally romantic and shit but I would of preferred cash. I is totally romantic like that! but there is a story behind the naffness but it will not be told here, mostly because it's boring and makes no sense to anyone except me and the boy.

Oh yeah I use those frozen festival slushie containers as vases

Oh yeah there were more roses but I got a little crazy with the secateurs and a couple died in the carnage

Oh yeah I have a shrine to Homer Simpson in my house, Ok I call it my Shrine but it's really a collection of figurines.

Karen Walker: Sun Gods Range... HAWT!

Oh my frickin god, I love Karen Walker Sunglasses and I NEED to have those red ones in my life and soon!

The Spank Bank: My new husband Jon Kortajarena and he will wear Tom Ford to our Wedding!

Meet my new husband image pinched from Sartorially Inclined

I sometimes have ideas of what my wedding would be like, not that I ever plan on getting married but I would totally do it for the cake or the cash or the visa.

Anyways I was perousing the interwebs and encountered  this overview of Tom Fords S/S 2010 and went oh my frickin' god where have you been all my life.

Anyways it's not so much him but he'll do tonight until I can print out some more pictures of Lee Marvin. but the above outfit, I'm a sucker for bow ties and men in unusual prints and honestly if I were to wak down the aisle and be a bridezilla I would want my groom rocking this... or seersucker...mmmm men in seersucker suits.  But I is late he is off rooting Madonna I think

Outfits: another bloody high wiasted skirt/ cardigan combo a.k.a what I wear to work most everyday

Headscarf: thrifted
Earrings: thrifted
Tank: Kmart $6 singlets
Cardigan: Moda for Target
Stockings: dunno?

This is fast becomign my stock standard work outfit, because a) it makes me look responsible...ish (worki is conservative..ish)  b) it's frickin hot and muggy here in Sydney and wearing skirts give my beloved corporate box the fresh air it needs and c) I can usually fart out an outfit like this or similar in ten minutes in the dark in the morning.

I like the combo I do I mean anytime I whack on a high waisted skirt my tits look spectacular. but i feel like every fat chick lady skirt-wearing individual is wearing the exact same thing!

Headscarf: Thrifted
T-shirt: Thrifted
Cardigan: Sara
Skirt: Evans
Hosiery: dunno
Earrings: Thrifted

I'm not really that upset by it but I want to figure out something a little more unique outfit wise, maybe a cape? or some sort of nipple adornment.
Anyway in other things the skirt in picture number 1 whilst it wrinkles like a 94 year old you have shoved into a suitcase, it is a great length, has pockets and is really well made, and if I wasn't so skint (poor)  I would buy me few in different colours to rotate it is a good skirt the waistband is versatile and comfortable (theres elastic in the back)

Outfit: of the Big Day Out Music festival

headscarf: thrifted
t-shirt: kmart shredded by me
bra: kmart
vest: an old waterfall cardigan I hacked the sleeves off from kmart
sunglassed: karen walker
boyfriend: mine: in t-shirt :as you see it art

no full shots, of my outfit for the Big Day Out they were just some throwaway crap jegging things, but the bra was bitchin' and in line with my everything in red polka dot dreams and I was super comfy for the whole day which is al that counts.
P.S. Shredding your own t-shirts whilst fundamentally easy   takes ages and is kinda fiddly, takes ages, and can really hurt yo hands and if you are working with  a white t-shirt remember to keep your hands clean.
