the weekend of the $2 polka dot skirt

White Shirt: I'm going to guess Kmart I have whole bunch of these left over from my waitressing days.
Skirt: Thrifted and untagged
Belt: Thrifted and untagged
Shoes: evans.co.uk
Key necklace : made from key I found in a desk drawer and a silver necklace

I found  this skirt on rack at an Op Shop and I saw pleats and I saw navy polkadots and I saw $2 on the tag and I was in love.

Tank: Vigilante Labs via Etsy
Skirt: Thrifted and untagged
Belt: Thrifted and untagged
Shoes: evans.co.uk
Key necklace : made from key I found in a desk drawer and a silver necklace
Headscarf: Thrifted and Untagged

I also saw that the label had been torn out and I had no idea what size it was, I'm guessing it's a size 12 (I is a little bigger than that) but I sucked it up (and in) forced myself into that Mofo and I think I look pretty damn cute I've already worn it three times this week, having to wear the waistband under my tits (as my rib cage and tits are considerably smaller than my bottom bits ) and hidden under a wide belt but nobody seems to notice and better thing about wide belts is that my tits look spectacularrrr (you gotta roll the r) The white shirt outfit did get me man attention on my commute which means it must be mentally stored for when I am single again or for when I need heavy stuff lifted.

The second outfit witht the kiwifruit doubly rocks as the tank top is scratch and sniff and smells of kiwifruit, but some people are apprehensive when I tell them my top is scratch and sniff... I may phrase it as "my boobs smell like kiwi fruit if you rub them, wanna sniff?" still even when the smell goes, it will be a lovely top I love the colour.

it's time for Cardi Gras!

I found you in Byron bay when I was up there for Splendour in the Grass, she was sitting right up the back hidden in a store called The Institute of Cute, I was drawn to the store by the bubble machine oh how I love bubbles, I cam in and rummaged around I asked the shopgirl how much your friends were and she said $170 and I was about to leave and then I saw some ladybugs or some other twee shit and it's where I saw you, all demure and refined in Navy blue I almost missed you but luckily you caught my eye with all your carousel horses circling your arms and I gasped! oh how I gasped I had never seen a carousel horse print that didn't look  like baby vomit after it had been eating jubes all day, I had to have you but I couldn't afford $170 but then I looked closer, you had been reduced to $70 ($50 was what I told the boyfriend) and you were all mine, I love wearing you, I really do you make me feel happier when I wear you and I'm so happy we are together, especially in this grey crisis I'm currently facing.

Stripes, Spots and a Snarl

Cardigan: Regatta (dyed a less fug shade of red)
Leggings:???
Belt: Evans
Boots: Duo
I'm trying to lessen my impact on Mother Nature by not purchasing new clothes and instead wear only vintage... Ok that almost sounded convincing, I like vintage stuff I really do but I alas am not a flaxen haired ivory skinned waif who can make a polyester mu-mu look like Versace, instead my thick clumsy limbs and shock of hair tends makes 'Vintage' look like 'Crazy Bag lady I cross the street to avoid as she looks lik she would throw her faeces at me' anyways I'm trying again as I'm poor and I stick out like dogs balls anyway I may as well stick out like dogs balls in an outfit that sticks out like dogs balls.
That I when I saw this dress I HAD to have it! the colours! the stripes!, the pussy bow ! the fact that it was upcycled! the fact that no one else would ever own this baby! so I go her and I loved her so I took her out for one last outing before the Sydney summer forces her into a cupboard for the next six months.
Shame about the photo, It does not do the dress justice, or me, I'm looking mighty bland there.

My favourite dress all tucked in.

Top: Vintage dress from Thrush Vintage via etsy
Jeans: yoursclothing.co.uk
Flats: Evans
I love this dress so much I constantly dream of all the possible ways I could wear her tucked in layered over legging over, stockings, over bare legs how she would look worn backwards (found out bit stupid actually) and even just as a skirt, this ensemble has been the most popular one over the last month, the dress is appearing weekly often twice/ thrice weekly and more than often not unwashed and splattered with the coffee stains I acquire from my commute to work but in all honestly this dress could smell like goat and i'd pick it before many other items in my wardrobe.

Trawling throgh the Andes on the Hunt for the One..

I have since forever been on pursuit looking for the ultimate handbag, I want it to be a giant of a thing, ideally leather and in a neutral colour that would go with anything this is the closest so far

I love staying up late and looking at the J. Peterman catalogue, and pretending I'm an explorer packing for my next voyage. I have this thing where I would like to look like Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca  and wearing berets, fedoras , and trench coats all the time, but alas this is sunny non war torn Sydney and the temperature never drops low enough to rock both a hat and a trench coat together.
Ooh while I was writinig and browsing I have seen the dress I'd be willing to lose 20Kgs to get into

I swear sometimes I want to be a lower northshore housewife with a four wheel drive .

The Domino Dress

Jacket: Beth Ditto for Evans
Domino Print dress (worn as top) : Beth Ditto for Evans
Skirt: Yours clothing Company
Belt : came with dress purchased from cupcake and cuddlebunny via etsy
I havent' bought new clothing in ages mainly because I'm poor and also because I'm actually super poor, I usually settle for hitting local op shops and wrangling together some bits and bobs to go with my collection of jeans and black tops but this year decided would invest a little bit into clothing and when I heard about this whole Beth Ditto range I thought fuck it I'm going to buy me some new clothes, and I jumped onto that poor domino dress like every other fat girl with 40 quid and decided to I'm going to dress up like a rock star... alas there are several things one needs to remember when purchasing clothing from overseas the U.K. in particular that I'm 5'11 probably becuase I got regular sunlight as a child however this dress from U.K I have purchased has been made for someone around 3'6 in height , thus as much as I love this dress and how amazing it makes my tits look i cannot wear it by itself without exposing 'the corporate box' (that's my euphemism for my vagina folks) so thats where 'el trusty hight waisted skirt' comes in with her sidekick the statement belt kid and there you have it.. how I have to wear the dress, give me some time though may be able to figure out a new way to rock the dress.
I wore this out to work and fancy dinner that night and I must say it rated well in people flirting with me, this ensemble has definitley been filed into outfits to pick up in.
